AK! My 'Northern Exposure': If They Mated
Before leaving Juneau, I picked up some Alaskan souvenirs: A couple of Alaskan Amber t-shirts, Alaskan-grown cedar grilling planks, and some Alaskan-made jerky. If you take a look at the pics, the jerky's made with reindeer, caribou, and venison meat.........some also with beef, pork, pig hearts and cow hearts - sounds delicious. The jerky's jerky, nothing in the way of any exotic tastes or textures, a bit tough though. The Alaska Jack's Red Pepper Hunter Stick combines the essence of the pig, cow, and reindeer for ultimate in protein sustenance.
